Salary: Teachers Pay Scale (Inner London)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Streatham (SW16)

Main Purpose:

As a Classroom Teacher, you will inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt your teaching to individual needs, and foster a positive learning environment. You will also contribute to the wider school community and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Plan and teach exciting lessons, assess pupils' progress, and maintain high expectations.
• Pupil Development: Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to provide a holistic learning experience.
• Professionalism: Uphold the Teachers' Standards, engage in professional development, and maintain high ethical standards.

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Successful teaching experience
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and equality

Desirable:

• Experience working with Special Educational Needs pupils
• Understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences
• Good ICT skills
• Knowledge of educational software
