Plant Fitter - Hire Company - Surrey

Cloud Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Fitter to join a well-established plant hire company based in Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Plant Fitter with experience in the plant hire sector to secure a stable, long-term role with strong earning potential.

The successful Plant Fitter will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of hire equipment and heavy plant machinery, ensuring all equipment is maintained to a high standard and ready for customer use.

The Role - Plant Fitter:

Service, maintenance and repair of plant hire equipment

*

Fault-finding and diagnostics on plant machinery

*

Working on excavators, dumpers, rollers, breakers and associated equipment

*

Carrying out PPM and safety inspections

*

Preparing hire equipment for dispatch and return

*

Mobile and workshop-based repairs as a Plant Fitter

*

Completing service reports and documentation

Requirements - Plant Fitter:

*

Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or Plant Engineer

*

Experience working within a plant hire environment preferred

*

Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge

*

Qualification in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)

*

Full UK Driving Licence

*

Ability to work independently as a Plant Fitter

*

Strong attention to detail and fault-finding skills

Package:

*

Up to £45,000 basic salary
