Are you an experienced Project Manager? Have you worked on Refurb/Fit Out projects? 

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage and lead high-value construction and refit projects. The ideal candidate will be energetic, resourceful, and able to integrate well with a team of hardworking professionals.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Compile and issue tender documentation, review tenders, and appoint contractors. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, forecasting, and financial reporting. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Facilitate meetings and presentations as required.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Ensure all activities meet industry and regulatory standards and project specifications. Conduct regular site visits to verify compliance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Ensure all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and building codes.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Good working knowledge of construction contracts, e.g., JCT building contracts.
  • MCIOB or MRICS qualifications advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong working knowledge of appropriate software.
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Full driving licence.
