Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with a range of special educational needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs)

Deliver individualised support and interventions as directed by the class teacher and SENCO

Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence in learning

Assist with classroom routines and help adapt activities to meet student needs

Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain accurate notes when required

What we're looking for:

Experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)

A patient, caring, and resilient approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Understanding of SEND strategies, behaviour support, and inclusive practice

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

What we offer:

Competitive pay based on experience

Supportive school environment with experienced staff

Opportunities for further training and career progression

A chance to make a meaningful impact on children's education and wellbeing
