This is a fantastic full-time opportunity to support students aged 11-16 by supervising lessons during teacher absence, ensuring continuity of learning in a structured and supportive setting.

About the Role:

Supervise whole classes during teacher absence, delivering pre-prepared work and ensuring students stay engaged

Maintain high standards of behaviour and encourage positive attitudes towards learning

Provide support to individual pupils or small groups where needed

Report on pupil engagement and behaviour to teaching staff to support ongoing learning

Support the school's safeguarding policies and contribute to a safe, respectful classroom environment

Assist with break/lunch supervision and transitions between lessons as required

We're Looking For:

Experience working with young people, ideally in education, tutoring, youth work, or coaching

Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills

Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and proactive in managing a variety of classroom situations

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships quickly

Interest in education or teaching, with opportunities for career progression and professional development

Degree or Level 3 qualifications are beneficial but not essential

Willingness to complete safeguarding and other training provided by the school
