Account Specialist Role Summary The primary role of the Account Specialist is to manage, retain and develop a portfolio of clients whilst actively looking for and dealing with new business enquiries. An Account Specialist will provide assistance, information and advice to clients and colleagues in relation to Group Risk / Healthcare / Pension (depending on their area of expertise) and ensure timely delivery of services. While the role is predominantly office based, the successful applicant will be expected to travel to meet clients and prospects where required and to develop internal and external relationships. Key responsibilities * Seeks to understand clients' demands and needs. * Manages client relationships and to ensure work is completed efficiently resulting in higher profitability. * Identifies and progresses opportunities for cross selling JLT services to clients. * Demonstrates the highest levels of honesty and integrity in all dealings. * Negotiates satisfactory outcomes in situations where stakeholders have differing goals and objectives. * Makes decisions that are aligned to Practice/Functional strategies, JLT values and to different stakeholder needs where appropriate.  Typically takes decisions at a pace which balances the need for further analysis and the need for a timely decision given commercial pressures. * Makes personal investment to achieve business, personal and career goals. Skills required * Experience of designing and implementing group risk / healthcare / pension / RSE (as appropriate) arrangements. * Good planning and organisational skills for both own and team. * Ability to manage stakeholders including client management, peer and upward management. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. * Intermediate/advanced skills in Excel and Word. * Good communication skills Additional Details We offer highly attractive reward packages.
