European Business Development Manager - Aerospace & Advanced Materials

Location: Fully Remote (UK) | European Travel

Salary: Excellent Salary + Bonus + Benefits

SJ Executive are exclusively partnering with a globally successful engineering organisation with a rich heritage supplying high-performance polymer and advanced material solutions into aerospace and defence markets.

Due to continued European growth, our client is seeking a European Business Development Manager to drive new business and strategic revenue expansion. The role manages an established revenue stream with a clear objective to significantly grow the business over the next 2-3 years.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute a European B2B sales strategy aligned with growth objectives

* Identify and secure new customers across aerospace, defence and advanced materials markets

* Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities

* Convert RFQs into long-term customer contracts

* Analyse market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity across Europe

* Implement value-based selling strategies to maximise profitability

* Negotiate commercial agreements with key customers and partners

* Work closely with engineering, production and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions

* Represent the organisation at industry events, exhibitions and trade shows

Candidate Requirements

* Proven B2B business development experience within aerospace, defence, polymers or advanced materials sectors

* Background selling polymer technologies, engineered materials, sealing solutions, composites or similar technical products

* Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineering drawings and complex solutions

* Demonstrated success winning new business in competitive markets

* Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
