As we continue to grow, we're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Operations Assistant to support the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. Thi will initally be a fixed term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave but has the potential to grow into a more marketing and branding position thereafter.

Role Purpose

As Operations Assistant, you'll ensure the business runs efficiently day-to-day. You'll manage office operations, support HR administration, assist with onboarding, help run internal processes such as ISO and sustainability accreditation, and support marketing, events and finance tasks. You will work closely with senior leadership and interact with every area of the business becoming a key internal go-to person.

Support day-to-day business operations

Manage office supplies and workspace setup

Order items via Amazon/Office Monster

*

Maintain efficient operational processes

*

Update and finalise company policies

*

Upload signed policies to SharePoint

*

Coordinate 121s and annual appraisals

*

Log notes in Breathe HR

*

Monitor holiday and sickness records

*

Flag patterns and send monthly updates

*

Assist with ISO 9001 audit prep

*

Maintain CROO, org charts and supplier lists

*

File monthly meeting minutes

*

Track internal audit actions

*

Support sustainability accreditation

*

Manage quarterly Just One Tree donations

*

Deliver onboarding for new starters

*

Set up employees in Breathe HR

*

Arrange laptops, phones and system access

*

Handle headshots, website profiles & signatures

*

Create LinkedIn headers via templates

*

Set up iPhones and install required apps

*

Support company social media posts

*

Share updates internally to boost engagement

*

Help organise Monthly Wrap socials

*

Coordinate Christmas, Summer & Incentive trips

*

Support freelancer onboarding

*

Prepare weekly freelancer timesheet spreadsheets
