Sales Administrtor - Maidstone

Great opportunity to join a well established large dealership in Maidstone

You will support the General Manager and sales team with all their administration


To order, receive, inspect, maintain, control, register, invoice and account for the department's vehicle stocks, providing information and reports as required.

To co-ordinate the salesman's orders with the customers wishes, preparing the vehicles and ensuring that all paperwork is accurately and efficiently handled..

To maintain up to date records of all vehicles ensuring that all overage vehicles are brought to the General Sales Manager's notice on a weekly basis. To check, query and obtain credits for stocking charges incorrectly made. Ensure that all stock vehicle batteries are checked in accordance with manufacturer's policy and to maintain safe and satisfactory records of checks done.

To ensure batteries are maintained correctly. Manage the inter dealer exchange of vehicles,ensuring paperwork is correctly handled,inspecting vehicles out and in and handling any claims for shortage/damage.

To check that at all times the correct insurance certificates are obtained and all other documentation required for vehicle licensing/registration is held. oversee the registration and licencing of vehicles

To reconcile supplier invoices and manage and produce invoices for vehicles.To reconcile all supplier invoices with the cost accrual sheets, querying and disputing costs where applicable.

To adjust the cost accrual sheets to reflect actual costs. To resolve queries from the accounts department and reconcile the inventory on a monthly basis. To study the management accounts and ensure that they represent an accurate record. To prepare cash and financial forecasts as required.

Assisting in other duties to include taking messages for Sales staff and meeting and greeting customers in the absence of the team

The ideal candidate

You will have strong Administrative skills to include a proficient use of Word and Excel and have a strong background with supporting a team.

Hours of work Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm, 1 Saturday morning in 4, 9am-1pm
