We're working with a well-established and expanding main contractor specialising in high-quality commercial fit out projects across the North West. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team in Warrington.

This role will focus on delivering fast-track CAT A and CAT B fit out schemes, ensuring the design process is effectively managed from pre-construction through to completion.

Duties include:

* Managing the full design process across multiple fit out projects

* Coordinating architects, consultants, and specialist subcontractors

* Reviewing and managing technical submissions to ensure compliance and buildability

* Driving design programmes in line with construction delivery schedules

* Managing design changes and mitigating programme or cost risk

* Leading design meetings and maintaining clear communication across teams

* Supporting value engineering and commercial objectives

* Working closely with site and commercial teams to ensure seamless project delivery

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Design Manager within a main contractor or specialist fit out contractor environment. You will be confident working within fast-paced programmes and managing multiple stakeholders across high-spec commercial schemes.

Experience delivering projects ranging from £5m-£30m is preferred.
