Job Title: Gateway Coordinator
Location: Heathrow
Contract: Monday to Friday +1 Saturday per month

Role Purpose:

M4 Recruitment is seeking a Gateway Coordinator to support the smooth and compliant movement of freight within a busy logistics operation. You will play a key role in managing imports/exports, vehicle coordination, and customs compliance, ensuring service excellence in line with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Coordinate inbound/outbound freight and ensure timely vehicle dispatch to/from airlines.

*

Accurately capture data and update internal systems.

*

Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

*

Follow SOPs, KPIs, and regulatory compliance (DfT/CAA, HMRC, IATA).

*

Resolve customer/supplier queries quickly and professionally.

*

Support invoicing, job costing, CIA, and milestone tracking.

*

Work closely with the Gateway Manager and complete additional tasks as required.

*

Participate in rate reviews and focus on cost control.

Key Requirements:

Essential Experience & Skills:

*

Experience in freight forwarding/logistics, especially gateway and consolidation functions.

*

Solid knowledge of import/export procedures.

*

Understanding of DfT/CAA, HMRC, and IATA regulations.

*

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

*

Familiarity with airline transport and customs documentation.

Desirable:

*

Previous work in a fast-paced freight environment.

*

ETSF and T1 handling experience.
