We are currently seeking to recruit a qualified Teacher of Chemistry to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local secondary academy in Grimsby

The Teacher of Chemistry position will commence September 1st 2021

The School:

The desired Teacher of Chemistry will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. As part of a larger multiacademy trust, the Teacher of Chemistry will have opporutnities to work in different schools and experienece how different senior leadership teams run within the same trust. 

The role:

The desired Teacher of Chemistry will have passion and enthusiasm for the subject who will have the responsibility of delivering Science lessons across KS3 and KS4. The successful Teacher of Chemistry will have high expectations of behaviour and attainment and will have the ability to build positive relationships with others. Due to the nature ofthe role, the ideal candidate will be comfortable covering a range of subjects outside of their specialism.


To be considered for the position of Teacher of Chemistry you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent teaching experience in the last 2 years for at least 2 weeks.
  • A passion for Science
  • An outstanding ability to share knowledge
  • The abiity to adapt and overcome unforseen obsticles
