1:1 Teaching Assistant - Min 1 month contract - Stafford

We are seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a busy, thriving and growing primary school in Stafford within their nursery class. The post is Required ASAP on a temporary basis.

This opportunity is great for somebody who is seeking a rewarding role as a 1:1 teaching assistant, supporting a child in Nursery whilst also providing general support to the rest of the class. The school benefits from a close-knit team who work together to provide the best education for all pupils across the school.

The role includes:

• Providing 1:1 teaching assistant support for a pupil in Nursery (desirable but not essential).

• Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.

• Working alongside the class teacher to provide general support for the class.
• Assisting class teacher in adapting classroom activities and resources to meet the pupil's needs.
• The ability to create and foster an inclusive, safe and warm learning environment.
• Work alongside teachers, SENCo, and external professionals.
• Support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in Nursery (1:1 experience desirable)
• Is patient, caring, and reliable
• Enhanced DBS
• Available to start ASAP
• Can commute to Stafford
• Is able to follow guidance and adapt support to individual needs
• Ability to support a nursery class with general support
• Fully registered to work for Academics

Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
