Part-Time Caretaker
Location: Wirral
Pay: £17 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-10:00am (20 hours per week)
Start Date: 23rd February
A school in the Wirral is seeking a dependable and proactive Caretaker to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented environment for pupils and staff.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
Opening and securing the school premises each day
Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
Completing routine health & safety checks
Ensuring the site is clean, safe and compliant
Managing deliveries and overseeing contractor access
Responding promptly to any site-related issues
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous caretaking, maintenance or site management experience
Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Has a good understanding of health & safety procedures
Takes a proactive and practical approach to problem-solving
School experience is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
