Job Title: Production Assistant

Job Location: Mansfield, NG18 5BY

Hours: The working days are Monday to Friday with rotating shifts. 6am-2pm one week, then 2pm-10pm the next week. 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 per day

Contract: 3 months

Rate: £12.33 per hour

About the role

Our client is looking for a Production Assistant to join them in a new role. You will be working within a dynamic company specialising in the print/mail arena. Focusing on meeting clients' ever-changing demands, their main workload is transactional print/mail with tight turnaround times that they pride themselves on meeting.

Any trainee roles will come with full training, for experienced and trainee roles a competitive salary and additional benefits is on offer, roles are based in the Mansfield Plant.

What you will do:

Assist in the operation of various finishing equipment, including but not limited to Neopost mailing machines, Paragon pressure sealers / folding machine and Duplo booklet maker/finisher, fusion encloser
To operate and maintain specified machines to the expected standards
Complete consumables stock takes for the machines as required
Maintain machinery to required standard of housekeeping
Ensure product quality standards are achieved and maintained on the machines
All process standards are adhered to

Your Experience will include:

Successful, proven track record within the print/mail environment or similar
Good verbal and communication skills
PC Literacy is preferable
A willingness to learn new skills and be flexible
An ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
An ability to follow verbal and written instructions
A willingness to work overtime when required
