Job Title: Building Surveyor
Location: Hybrid Position - West London
Rate: £300 per day (Umbrella CIS - If a UTR number can be provided)
Contract Type: Full Time (3 to 6 month ongoing contract)
Start Date: ASAP

The Role As a Building Surveyor, you'll be a key link between the Council and its school sites, delivering planned maintenance, capital projects, and urgent repair works. Working closely with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and sustainable operation of public buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess building condition and prioritise works
Manage planned maintenance programmes and urgent repairs
Draft specifications and assist with procurement
Oversee contractor performance and site delivery
Maintain project tracking, budgets and reporting systems
Support bids for external funding
Align your work with climate-conscious principles
What We're Looking For Essential:

Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Building Surveying
Proven experience in surveying and managing building works
Excellent stakeholder communication skills
Familiarity with MS Office and project management tools
Sound knowledge of health and safety and compliance standards
