Workshop Controller
Location: Colne
Salary: £35,000 - £49,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Saturday overtime: Time and a half (rota basis)

Are you an experienced Technician ready to step into a leadership role, or a current Workshop Controller seeking a new challenge in a well-supported, family run environment?

You'll take the lead on daily workshop operations while staying hands-on with technical work - making this role ideal for someone who still enjoys being on the tools but is also ready to guide and support a team of skilled Technicians.

What You'll Do:

Oversee the efficient running of the workshop

Allocate and monitor job progress across the technician team

Assist with diagnostics and support on more complex repairs

Ensure a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction

Act as the link between Service Advisors and the workshop team

Uphold safety, compliance, and quality standards at all times

What You'll Need:

Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

MOT testing licence (preferred)

Strong diagnostic and repair experience

Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills

Good time management with a flexible, proactive approach

Full UK Driving Licence
