Zest Education is currently recruiting Nursery Nurses to join a reputable Nursery located just outside of Cannock.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Ideally, you will hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare and must have proven experience working as a nursery nurse.

As a Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for caring for children, supporting their learning and development, and creating a safe and stimulating environment for them to thrive. The working days for this position will vary each week, and the hours will consist of specific shifts as follows:
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Duties

* Manage daily activities within the nursery, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.

* Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote development in key areas such as social skills, language, and motor skills.

* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support the individual needs of each child.

* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary.

* Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation for quality childcare and early education.

* Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of care and education within the nursery.

Experience

* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.

* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both children and staff.

* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and parents.

* A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and well-being.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
