At Elite Cooling Services Scotland (ECS), we specialise in delivering high-quality refrigeration and engineering solutions to the FMCG and industrial sectors. As a growing and forward-thinking business, we pride ourselves on reliability, technical expertise, and building long-term partnerships with our clients.

We're now looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team—someone who can help keep equipment running smoothly, minimise downtime, and make a real impact in fast-paced production environments.

This is a varied, hands-on role offering stability, career development, and the opportunity to work with a close-knit team across multiple sites and projects.

What you'll do:

* Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery.

* Diagnose and resolve electrical & mechanical faults efficiently.

* Work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.

* Troubleshoot issues including PLC and control systems.

* Support production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.

* Assist with installation, upgrades, and improvement projects.

* Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules.

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

* Ensure a safe, clean, and organised working environment at all times.

What you'll bring:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or automated environments

* Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills

* Knowledge of PLCs / automation systems (desirable)

* Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* A proactive, safety-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability

* Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute to continuous improvement

What we offer:

* Salary up to £42,000 DOE

* Enhanced overtime rates (1.5x)

* 40-hour working week (full-time)
