I am recruiting on behalf of a growing and ambitious fire & security company that is looking to add a multi‑skilled Fire & Security Engineer to its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the chance to grow with a young organisation.

About the Role

My client is seeking an experienced engineer to carry out a mix of servicing, fault‑finding, and light installation work across Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV systems, and Access Control panels.

The role is predominantly based across London, Brighton, and the Home Counties, with occasional work elsewhere in the UK. Callouts are rare, but flexibility is important.

Key Responsibilities

Fire Systems

* Servicing and routine maintenance of fire alarm systems

* Small installation works and system additions

* Fault-finding and diagnostics

Security Systems

* Servicing and fault‑finding on:

* Intruder alarms

* CCTV systems

* Access control panels

* Occasional installation and upgrade projects

General Tasks

* Ensure all work complies with relevant standards and guidelines

* Maintain accurate job records and documentation

* Provide professional, customer‑focused service

* Manage workload effectively and work independently

Candidate Requirements

* Experience in fire alarms, security systems, or ideally both

* Strong fault‑finding and servicing skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Good communication and customer-facing ability

* Able to work independently and organise workload

* Willingness to travel occasionally outside the main region
