They are looking for a highly skilled Payroll, HR & Benefits Specialist to join their collaborative People & Culture team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a business that blends tradition with modern innovation.

This role is pivotal to ensuring seamless payroll operations, accurate benefits administration, and delivering exceptional HR services. You will also be involved in driving reward initiatives and process improvements, while utilising a range of HRIS and payroll platforms to optimise efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end processing of monthly payroll for UK employees (and potential international entities).
Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, statutory deductions, RTI submissions, and year-end processes (P60, P11D).
Reconcile payroll reports and address discrepancies promptly.
Partner with finance on reconciliations and audits.
HR Administration & Systems
Maintain accurate employee records within multiple HR systems and payroll platforms.
Support with employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, contractual changes, and terminations.
Ensure data integrity across HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms.

Benefits & Rewards

Act as the first point of contact for benefits queries and support annual enrolments.
Support reward projects and assist in benchmarking exercises to ensure competitive offerings.
Process Improvements & Compliance

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in payroll and HR administration within a fast-paced, multi-site environment (retail experience highly desirable).
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, benefits administration, and HR best practices
Hands-on experience with multiple HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle, ADP, or similar).
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management ability.
