Inside Sales Representative - Miami, FL/ Remote Location

Position Purpose

 

Support sales growth of client companies by working with broker partners, distributors and retailers to expand item placements, develop promotional events and maximize brand awareness. Responsible for building relationships with assigned sales accounts, inspiring our sales partners and facilitating transparent communication with all contacts.

 

 

 

Essential Functions and Primary Job Duties

 

· Responsible for managing an assigned group of accounts

 

· Responsible for meeting or exceeding established sales goals.

 

· Solicit new business and build existing business

 

· Inform customers of company products, programs and promotions.

 

· Ensure customers and sales partners receive timely and accurate information.

 

· Assist sales partners with sales and education efforts to maximize sales results

 

· Respond to customer inquiries and ensure customer needs are resolved in an appropriate and timely manner.

 

· Capture communication with customers and sales partners

 

· Maintain transparent client communication protocols.

 

· Coordinate with client companies as needed for marketing and sales efforts.

 

· Assist with sales meetings, trainings, and tradeshows

 

· Work with clients and manager to develop growth strategies, create promotions and increase business within assigned account base.

 

· Develop /review category review, new item and promotional paperwork

 

· Review sales reports and update customer profiles

 

· Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

 

Required Skills / Qualifications

 

Education/Certification:

 

· Associates degree or equivalent training and experience

 

 

 

Experience:

 

· 1-3 years in a food distribution or sales environment preferred

 

· System Implementation preferred

 

Knowledge:

 

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

 

 

 

 

 

Skills/Abilities:

 

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

· Proven negotiation skills as demonstrated by previous work experience

 

· Able to develop and maintain effective, positive internal/external working relationships with a diverse group of individuals

 

· Comfortable working independently and remotely

 

· Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment

 

· Proven customer service standards

 

· Able to resolve issues appropriately and in a timely manner
