Senior Estimator - The successful Senior Estimator will be offered a permanent opportunity or can be taken on a long term freelance basis.

We are working alongside a successful London based building main contractor, with offices in North West London. They have had a massive rise in tender opportunities over the course of the last 18 months are keen to recruit a talented Senior Estimator. The contractor specialises in the luxury prime residential market on schemes ranging from £5m - £25m in value, working on both new build and refurbishment schemes. The projects include structural cut and carve: including basement excavations, with very high end finishes. Our client's business model is extremely well managed, with a reputation for producing a quality project on time and budget, which results in a large amount of repeat business.

The Senior Estimator will be involved in the preparation and tender return of quantified tenders from specifications / drawings or bill of quantities, completing prequalification questionnaires as well as attending pre tender meeting and internal handover meetings

The Senior Estimator's key duties:

* The Senior Estimator will prepare annotated computerised schedules and Bills of Quantities from clients Specification and drawings

* Prepare and price tenders from either clients or own prepared Bill of quantities

* Prepare and send out material enquiries

* Analysis of suppliers quotations

* To liaise with Clients / Suppliers as required during the tender process

* The Estimator will be expected to liaise with the site team during the preparation of the Handover and distribution of tender documents on secured projects.

Senior Estimator's key attributes:

* Main contracting background

* Experienced in new build and refurbishment tendering

* Capable of preparing BoQ's from specifications and drawings

* Familiar with computerised estimating software
