• Supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations
• Helping with the annual audit process
• Processing supplier invoices and payments
• Reconciling bank statements
• Assisting with financial forecasting and risk analysis
• Preparing VAT returns
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• An Accounting or Finance degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting software
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good communication abilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of £23,000 - £25,000 per annum
• 25 annual leave days plus bank holidays
• Hybrid working model: 1 day at home and 4 days in the Harrogate office
