CNC Mill-Turn 5 Axis Programmer

Our Client, a growing precision machining company on the outskirts of South Derbyshire, is looking to add an experienced CNC / CADCAM Programmer to their team. Operating out of a state of the art facility with a vast range of complex and up to date machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience with creating CNC Programs using CAD/CAM software, Configuration of Mill-turn machines and optimization of tool paths and machining strategies for efficiency and precision. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company who have a strong reputation and long history in Engineering.

CNC Mill-Turn 5 Axis Programmer

* Programming CNC Machines using CADCAM Software

* Developing CNC programs using CAD/CAM software

* Optimization of tool paths and machining strategies for efficiency and precision.

* Interpreting engineering/ design drawings and working to tight tolerences

* Set-up of mill-turn machines including tool selection, offsets, and work holding.

* Monitoring of machining processes to ensure quality and allow troubleshooting of issues.

* Working closely with Production, Engineering and Quality to improve efficiency

* High attention to detail to ensure components are machined to the highest quality
