Altum Consulting are excited to be supporting an incredibly successful commercial property development/management business based in London to secure a recently qualified finance professional to join their group finance function. our client is one of the premier real estate companies in Europe, focusing on the operation of modern logistics and distribution properties. They currently own and operate over 14 million square metres of space in key locations across the European supply chain.

Due to continued growth and success, the business is now looking to hire another Group Financial Accountant to increase it's capacity in group finance and create a more robust and data driven environment. This role will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information and reporting to the business and its key stakeholders. This includes the production of timely financial information and insights, and an ability to partner and foster excellent relationships with the wider business as part of understanding financial performance. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to improvements to existing financial processes and ad-hoc project

Key Responsibilities,

  • Develop and run analytical reviews to ensure accuracy of financial information
  • Design and improve financial processes to drive efficiency's and identify weaknesses in finance processes
  • Preparation and presentation of internal reporting to Regional Management across the regional business units
  • Involvement in ongoing Business Finance transformation projects
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis

Experience Required,

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), ideally first time passes.
  • Ideally trained within a Top 10 accountancy practice
  • Experience in working in/with large, complex, multinational organisations
  • Experience in property/construction preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS
  • Excellent excel skills with experience dealing with large data sets
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
