A large business based in Chorley are recruiting for a Financial Controller to join the business and manage a small finance team.

You will regularly be presenting to MD / CFO and will be responsible for the cash flow management, month end close, forecasting & divisional consolidation alongside financial modelling for new contracts.

As Financial Controller your responsibilities will comprise of:

• Consolidation of the divisional contract results for FD review.
• Group and executive reporting including preparation of MD pack for CEO review.
• Management of divisional forecasting process
• Oversight of Joint Venture Finance reporting.
• Mobilisation of new contracts and Joint Ventures.
• Management of divisional cashflow
• Cash-flow forecasting consolidation, analysis & appraisal.
• Lead Finance role in new contract tenders including financial modelling
• Oversight of divisional administration and compliance including divisional balance sheet reconciliations.
• Point of contact for internal and external auditors.
• Standardisation of monthly management accounts across the division
• Implementation of new Finance systems

To apply for the position you must:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA
• Have advanced IT skills, particularly around Excel, VLOOKUP's, pivot tables and sumifs
• Experience of SAP is desirable
• Have experience of leading a finance team
• Have worked in a similar role previously.
