We care for a range of customers including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet individual customer's needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.

About the role

The key focus for this role will be to manage the Radis services in our branch based in Reading. The key objective is to grow and develop our client base of private paying customers and continue to deliver a quality service. You will be required to work internally with all key stakeholders including the business development and marketing team to ensure key targets are achieved. Developing relationships locally with community organisations, charities, local authorities and NHS Trusts in order to gain and influence new referrals will also form a key part of the role.

Marketing and selling our services will be your primary objective and will require you to develop and execute a localised marketing plan to attract new customers.

This role will also involve managing a team, ensuring compliance with all company, local and national standards.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

  • Previous business development experience in a business to consumer market

  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing and business development plans.

  • To have the ability to motivate and empower staff teams to deliver excellent support and to work towards achieving their agreed goals and outcomes

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to build relationships

  • Demonstrated success in supporting staff to achieve their responsibilities

  • The ability to take ownership of issues and work on own initiative

  • Experience of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Experience of using social media platforms

  • A driving licence and own vehicle
