Warehouse Forklift Driver – Permanent Position

Location: OldburyHours: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PMSalary:£26,000 per annumContract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Forklift Driver looking for a long-term opportunity within a fast-paced warehouse environment? We are recruiting for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Forklift Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse.

 Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Forklift Driver, you will:

• Ensure all warehouse areas are counted in line with the weekly stock schedule (this schedule will vary each week).
• Report any inventory discrepancies promptly to avoid out-of-stock situations.
• Support the warehouse team with goods-in processes.
• Maintain all housekeeping disciplines to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Work to and support FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Liaise weekly with the Quality Assurance (Q.A.) team to ensure stock on hold is managed efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to allergen segregation rules.
• Assist with monthly and annual stocktakes alongside the Warehouse Manager.
• Always follow Health & Safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

 Requirements

• Valid Forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck).
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
