Contract Architectural Technician

Location: UK-based (remote)

Type: Contract / Freelance (ongoing work available)

£23-£28p/h DOE

We are looking to collaborate with an experienced Architectural Technician / Technologist / Architect who is already working independently and wants a more consistent, structured pipeline of work—without giving up their autonomy.

This opportunity is ideal for UK-based sole practitioners or freelancers seeking stability, support, and integration into a wider team environment.

About You

You are an independent professional who:

• Is a UK-based sole practitioner (Architect, Architectural Technologist, or Technician)
• Has at least 2 years’ experience within an architectural practice
• Is currently freelancing or self-employed
• Is confident producing drawing packages using AutoCAD
• Has solid experience preparing UK residential Building Regulations packages

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working on a range of residential and small commercial projects
• Producing clear, structured drawing packages (primarily at Building Regulations stage)
• Delivering work based on well-defined briefs, standard details, and internal guidance

Key Requirements (Must-Haves)
