• Autism (ASC)
• Moderate to severe learning difficulties
• Physical and sensory needs
• Speech, language & communication needs
• Social, emotional and mental health needs

The school has a supportive staff team, excellent facilities, and a strong focus on personalised learning.About the roleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
• Assist with personalised learning plans
• Promote independence, emotional regulation and positive engagement
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff
• Assist with personal care where appropriate

What we were looking for

• Proven experience in care, support work, education, SEN or behaviour support
• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of complex needs
• Comfortable delivering personal care as part of daily routines
• Patient, resilient and calm under pressure
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
• A genuine passion for helping young people progress
