We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client facilities team, supporting a group of schools across North London. This role is vital in ensuring safe, efficient, and comfortable learning environments for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across multiple school sites

Service and repair heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems

*

Troubleshoot mechanical faults to reduce downtime

*

Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations

*

Liaise with school staff and contractors to coordinate works effectively

*

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service reports

Requirements:

*

Recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

*

Experience in maintaining mechanical systems in educational, commercial, or public buildings

*

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

*

Good communication and customer service skills

*

Knowledge of health & safety procedures
