SEND Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Immediate Start

About the Role

• Support pupils aged 4–11 with a range of needs, including:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) 
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to deliver tailored learning and behaviour strategies.
• Assist with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and promote independence and confidence.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to create a positive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Essential: Previous experience supporting children with SEN.
• Patience, empathy, and resilience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
