The Service Advisor is responsible for maximizing the efficiency, revenue and productivity of the service department and achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Service managers are members of the auto shop management team, collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and parts departments to improve the overall performance and profitability of the business.
The Service Advisor is responsible for overseeing the service department by managing the schedule, ordering parts, reviewing inspection reports from technicians, managing technician time, and maintaining a line of communication with the customer regarding the progress/status of their vehicle. Experience with R.O. Writer is preferred, but not required.
