Commercial Finance Manager | South Manchester (hybrid working – 1 or 2 days per week office based) | £80,000 - £90,000 + suite of benefits

The Opportunity

Are you a Commercial Finance Manager / Senior Finance Business Partner looking for an outright commercially focused role in a rapid growth business that can offer incredible reward and development?

This opportunity is superb. £80k - £90k level. Based North West with a high degree of hybrid working (1-2 days per week office based).

You’re joining a PE backed professional services group delivering exceptional UK and international growth.

As the primary senior business partner for a vital expanding division (circa £40m turnover currently) you’ll be that key bridge between the Divisional MD / wider leadership team and the ambitious FD.

Your remit:

It’s out and out high impact added value. Co-piloting the SLT to drive growth and excellence. Your focus is driving into the numbers that surround performance. Revenue, profit, forecasts, commercial opportunities, competitor activities, pricing, project planning…

If it’s a lever that can potentially impact accelerated growth then you can get under the skin of it and bring highly credible MI to the table. It’s full blown commercial business partnering as a trusted advisor to a driven and modern set of divisional leaders.

It’s a hands-on and tactical business partnering position with real strategic input.

You’ll be a crucial voice within the SLT for the business unit – using financial insight and MI to influence planning and key decision-making.

It would suit a proactive and intuitive qualified Commercial FM / Finance Business Partner with clear interest and understanding of profit and revenue drivers. A naturally shrewd and sharp thinking finance professional with a modern outlook.

Very little (if any) mundane reporting (central finance look after the engine room accounting) this is all “point you at the business and give you the freedom to make a difference”

About you at a glance:

• Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA), Commercially focused, CV with clear examples of business partnering and adding value
• Professional services experience (consulting / legal or equivalent)
• You probably live within an hour of Manchester.
