CNC Programmer

Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a CNC Programmer to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to develop and adjust CNC programs for manufacturing based on technical drawings and collaborating with the Sales department to optimize customer outcomes.

This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be 40 hours, 8:30am - 5pm over Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities as a CNC Programmer will include:

Creating CNC machine programs using design software and programming the machines
Manging schedules and quoting lead times
Keeping communication with the sales team

The ideal candidate:

Programming experience on CNC machines and CAD
Basic knowledge of 2D cad
Understanding engineering drawings
Customer service experience on shop floor would be desirable
