RG Consultancy are working with a large distribution business based in Middleton who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance department. You will work within a busy finance department to manage and maintain the purchase ledger and report into the Purchase Ledger Supervisor.

The Role
- Responsible for all purchase ledger duties, manage and maintain the purchase ledger
- Processing invoices (including stock and overheads)
- Processing employee expenses
- Petty cash management
- Dealing with supplier queries over email and managing the accounts payable expenses
- Daily banking
- Other ad hoc duties to support the Purchase Ledger Supervisor as required
The Person
- An AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential
- Strong IT skills and experience with SAGE and MS Excel
- Previous experience working in a busy or fast based purchase Ledger or similar role
- Confident communicator on the phone and via email
- Ability to deal with high volume work efficiently
