Staff Nurse / Senior Staff Nurse - Northampton - up to £35,500 plus enhancements We want to provide the best possible care to our patients. To achieve that, we need the best possible Nurses. Men’s Mental Health: The Men’s Mental Health service was developed to provide appropriate and timely care and treatment at different levels of secure care for men with mental illness within medium, low and non-secure settings, and psychiatric intensive care units (PICU). Women’s Mental Health: Our services are specially designed for women, including post-operative transsexuals, over the age of 18 with Mental Health, Personality Disorders and challenging behaviour. Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services: Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are designed for boys and girls aged 13 to 18 with complex mental disorders, severe emotional and behavioural difficulties, intellectual disabilities, mental illness and autistic spectrum disorders. Learning Disabilities: Both inpatient facilities and community provision are essential for supporting people with learning disability and complex presentations. This service provides a fully comprehensive pathway, extending from medium secure inpatient hospital treatment, right through to residential care in a community settings. Autistic Spectrum Disorders: Our teams are multi-disciplinary with extensive knowledge, skills and experience of working with individuals with ASD. We include patients in planning their care, valuing and embracing each and every individual’s unique qualities. Neuropsychiatry: Over the past four decades we have pushed the boundaries of what is possible in neurobehavioral treatment and rehabilitation by repeatedly transforming complex behaviour in to user engagement and goal-fulfilment. - Dementia - We deliver positive experiences that optimise outcomes for older adults with dementia and other Progressive Neurological Conditions (PNC). - Huntington’s - At St Andrew’s we have a deep understanding of the physical, emotional and psychological impact of living with Huntington’s disease (HD). Our specialist teams focus on maximising functional ability and quality of life, across a dedicated HD pathway from secure to locked environments - Brain Injury At the National Brain Injury Centre (NBIC), Kemsley, we have developed a range of unique therapies and environments, from medium secure to community-based transitional living. During their time with us we help patients to re-tether social and interpersonal skills while also supporting a wide range of medical and physical healthcare needs, to assist their return to community living. Our nursing career pathway within St Andrew's Healthcare is unique. It enables you to develop and move through the profession without needing to leave the charity. We offer an outstanding Preceptorship Programme. We also work hand in hand with the University of Northampton and other education providers to deliver a full pathway of bespoke short courses and higher educational opportunities to our healthcare staff. There's access to specialised training for certificates and a Foundation Degree, providing a route to degree and postgraduate studies. There are 3 career routes – Leadership & Management; Clinical Effectiveness & Innovation; Learning, Education & Research.
