Assembly Fitter - 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

📍 Cheltenham | 🕒 Monday -Thursday 06:00 - 14:00 and Friday 06:00 - 12:00 (Shift Allowance from 06:00 - 07:00)

Meridian are looking for an Assembly Fitter to start work for one of our prestigious clients based in Cheltenham to carry out assembly/testing/painting/packing of products. This is an initial 12-month contract with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Assembly, testing and painting of standard product range;
Build and test of product in line with instruction sheets to required quality standard;
)perate and set machines in line with instructions;
Shot/bead blast cleaning and basic paint spraying;
Ensure company H&S policy is adhered to raise safety concerns to supervision;
Ensure production quality is maintained at all times.🧰 What We're Looking For:

Ability to read technical drawings and to follow work instructions;
Experience of working within a production envrionment;
Competent in safe use of PPE and work equipment;
Experience with welding would be advantageous;
Keen eye for detail and a conscientious attitude;
Proactive and flexible approach.📍 Location: Easily commutable from Gloucester, Tewkesbury, and surrounding areas.
