Car Sales Manager - Navan

Role Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets for used vehicles in conjunction with the existing sales team.

  • To sell the maximum number of used vehicles via the use of an effective sales process, whilst at the same time achieve the best profit for the Dealership.

  • Carry out accurate appraisals of all vehicles offered for part exchange in line with company processes.

  • Maintain showroom and displays to the expected standard.

  • Using various sources, prospect for used car customers on a regular basis to create additional sales opportunities.

  • To actively develop new clients and manage existing clients.

  • Ensure all customer information, sales activities, vehicle documentation and other relevant information is kept and maintained accurately and comprehensively on ESKIMO CRM.

  • Lead, coach and mentor the Sales team on a regular basis to ensure that revenue targets are met.

  • Ensure all customers are pro-actively offered finance products during the sales process in line with GDPR compliance.

  • On a weekly and monthly basis, monitors sales profitability to ensure strategic goals are being met.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Responsible for own health and safety and that of other work colleagues.

  • Undertaking ad-hoc duties.


Your Skills:

  • A full, valid clean driving licence, with a minimum of 4 years driving experience is required

  • Strong Car Sales Experience and preferably at management level Required.

  • In date APA certification

  • Experience in management of direct customer contact, employee relations, budget and P&L review

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make prudent decisions

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport across the organisation with peers, staff and management, both written and verbal

  • Strong team-oriented leadership skills and proven track record in a management role

  • Ability to attract, evaluate, coach, and advance staff to create an effective team
