Position: Nursery Chef

We are seeking a nursery Chef ideally someone with a qualification in Cooking such as NVQ, BTEC and previous cooking experience in a similar setting. Aditional certificates and training in cooking and preparing foodas food hygiene and allergies awareness would be desirable. .

Starting Salary:£27,000pa- £29,000pa + excellent further training and career progression opportunities

Hours: Full time, permanent role 40 hours, Monday -Friday, no weekends or evenings, day- time shift onlu only. No Evenings or Weekends.

Job Description:

As a nursery chef, you'll prepare and cook nutritional and balanced meals and desserts for all the children in the nursery and make substitutions depending on each individual's dietary requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

* Preparing well-balanced and nutritious meals

* Planning weekly and monthly Menu

* Using fresh ingredients

* Folllowing health & safety and food hygiene policies and procedures

* Undertaking daily cleaning schedule, such as mopping, sweeping, wiping surfaces, and cleaning cookers, kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery

* Keeping paperwork and records up to date to be used for future reference for the safety of everyone consuming food

* Taking stock of all dry and frozen foods and placing food order
