Business Development Manager

Bulk Material Handling / Powder Handling Systems

A growing engineering solutions provider is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to develop their bulk material handling and powder handling division.

The business designs and delivers integrated engineered systems for manufacturing and process industries, combining equipment from specialist suppliers to create complete handling solutions for customers.

This role will focus on developing sales of bulk material handling systems used to move, feed and process powders and materials within production environments.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing new business and managing project opportunities involving solutions such as:

Vacuum conveying systems

*

Pneumatic conveying systems

*

Powder feeding and dosing equipment

*

Mechanical conveying systems

*

Integrated bulk material handling solutions

Projects are typically technical and solution-led, ranging from smaller automation upgrades through to larger engineered installations.

Target Industries

Territory

UK wide / national role

*

Home based with travel to customers

Salary & Package

*

£45,000 - £60,000 basic salary

*

Commission structure based on gross margin

*

OTE approximately £80k-£90k once established

25 days holiday (increasing to 30 with service) + bank holidays

The ideal candidate will have experience selling:

You will be comfortable working in technical, project-based sales and developing opportunities with manufacturing customers
