Sales Manager - Based Northampton

Basic Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience, with an uncapped OTE plus benefits. (This is an office-based role)

Due to continued expansion, my client is seeking an ambitious Sales Manager with experience of managing a team of Internal Sales Account Executives/Account Managers who are at their early stages in their careers.

As a Sales Manager you will have a proven history of working in sales within financial services, this is desirable but not essential. We also welcome candidates from different industries such as insurance, estate agents or a relatable sector.

As a Sales Manager, you will have a proven track record of managing a sales team of up to 7 who offer clients finance solutions such as asset finance, commercial loans, invoice finance and property finance.

You will be supported by an innovative fast-moving provider in financial services who provide access to a wide range of funders and effectively analyse financial requirements and key financial documentation. Proven experience of developing a full understanding of their clients' requirements.

Candidate & Duties

* Experience of drafting proposal documents and compile compelling applications.

* You will research background information on the appropriateness of prospects before engaging whist maintaining a high standard of professional conduct both written and spoken

* Ideally you will have experience of using Salesforce CRM system - but not essential

* Stay vigilant against the risks of fraud and money laundering and report concerns promptly and appropriately

* Adhere to the principles of (TCF) treat customers fairly

* Support other Account Managers and the wider team through sharing expertise and best practice

* Have a proactive approach and thrive in a growing team

* Build and maintain client relationships, understanding their needs to provide effective solutions
