Relationship Support Officer - Income Generating Property (IGP)

London - Fully Office Based £35,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a Relationship Support Officer (RSO) to join a growing Income Generating Property (IGP) team within a well-established international bank based in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a banking professional with experience in credit, portfolio support, or relationship management to develop their career within a specialist property finance environment.

The Role

As a Relationship Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting Relationship Managers with the day-to-day management of a client portfolio. You will gain exposure to credit analysis, client servicing, and banking operations, while building strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and processing of credit proposals, including financial analysis (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
  • Assist in managing and maintaining a portfolio of Income Generating Property clients
  • Monitor account activity, including payments, documentation, and facility performance
  • Track and follow up on due dates, renewals, and outstanding documentation
  • Provide high-quality client service, responding promptly to client queries via email and phone
  • Attend client meetings where required and prepare call reports
  • Liaise with internal departments including Operations, Credit, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Support ongoing account reviews and portfolio monitoring
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within a banking environment
  • Strong understanding of banking products and financial instruments
  • Experience in financial analysis and credit writing
  • Good knowledge of legal and financial documentation (e.g. insurance, valuations)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • University degree or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Additional language skills (e.g. Urdu or Punjabi) are advantageous
