Job Type: Permanent, PartTime

The main purpose of the role is to act as an operational support function to the Mumbai teams where outbound contact to customers and various stakeholders is required. 

The individual will work on specifically assigned tasks in order to support the SLAs to be met by the Mumbai team, contributing towards the achievement of business deadlines and wider department service levels.

Individuals will be expected to handle investor instructions which have been referred by Mumbai Registrations Team and respond to the operational teams with guidance on how to proceed and all work must be executed in a timely and professional manner.

Inbound and outbound customer contact, written or verbal, must be carried out in line with operational procedures for the relevant workstream to ensure that customer outcomes are positive at all times.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Assist Mumbai colleagues with queries on complex cases 
  • Make outbound contact to relevant parties requesting information as necessary
  • Ensure outbound correspondence is generated in a timely fashion using the third party provider
  • Knowledge and understanding of providing good customer service and client needs
  • Support to the retained UK structure in Registration function
  • Ensure all work within own allocation is handled timely to support the Mumbai team in achieving SLAs
  • Review and respond to audit queries from third party clients
  • Ensuring corrective action is taken where necessary to prevent controls failures

What we’re looking for:

  • Introduction to Securities and Investments module – or working towards within a Probationary period
  • Experience of working with offshore teams
  • Demonstration of effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work both as an individual or as part of a team
  • Knowledge and understanding of providing good customer service and client needs
  • Attention to detail
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Technical awareness

  • Solid PC/Excel/Word

  • Knowledge, understanding and experience in a Regulated and Financial industry
  • Risk aware
