Key Responsibilities:As a Management Accountant, your core focus will be delivering high-quality financial reporting and analysis, while supporting budget control and cost management. You'll work across departments to ensure financial clarity and provide insight to non-financial teams.
- Assist with monthly management accounts preparation, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Maintain the product costing system to support pricing and cost control
- Lead cost centre and operative planning processes
- Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing variance analysis and commentary
- Produce financial reports for local and group-level decision-making
- Act as a finance business partner across operational departments
- Conduct stock revaluations and inventory analysis
- Cover key finance functions including payroll and admin support when needed
- Identify performance drivers and make improvement recommendations
About You:You'll be a proactive and detail-oriented individual, capable of delivering insight and clarity through your financial expertise. You'll be comfortable presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders and supporting wider business objectives with a commercial mindset.
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or qualified by experience
- Strong Excel and systems skills; experience with ERP or costing software advantageous
- Background in manufacturing or a matrix organisation desirable
- Familiar with lean principles (Yellow Belt certification a plus)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Organised, dependable, and able to manage competing priorities
- Flexible, with a team-first approach and willingness to support across the function
