Job Title: English Teacher

Location: UK Secondary Schools

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate English teacher to join our team at Reed Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in Secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum
• Assessing and evaluating student progress
• Providing constructive feedback to students and parents
• Collaborating with other teachers and staff members to develop and implement curriculum
• Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest teaching methods and technology
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
• A valid teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS)
• Proven experience teaching English to Secondary school students
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse student population
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
