A well-established and highly respected M&E contractor, with over 50 years of experience delivering high-quality commercial building services projects, is seeking a Junior Mechanical Estimator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop their estimating career while working on a variety of exciting commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing tender documents, budgets, and bills of quantities.

Support the estimating team in managing project costs and contracts.

Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost reporting.

Monitor and report on project financial performance.

*

Assist in the preparation of final accounts and variations.

Qualifications and Skills:

*

Degree, HNC, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.

*

Some experience in the M&E sector, ideally with commercial projects.

*

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of estimating software is a plus.
