We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Local Land Charges Officer to support our busy Land Charges Team. You will be responsible for maintaining statutory registers, interpreting land search requests, and liaising with solicitors, agents, and members of the public to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the Local Land Charges Register, and the register of village greens and common land (manual and electronic).
• Interpret search requests to identify correct property/land areas using databases, records, and Ordnance Survey maps.
• Access and process electronic search requests via the National Land Information Service (NLIS).
• Ensure accurate data entry compliant with BS7666 standards.
• Communicate effectively with solicitors, agents, and search providers to clarify and consolidate information.
• Verify payments and balance daily income reports from BACS and card transactions.

About You:

• GCSE English Language (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
• Strong administration and IT skills, with experience in databases and word processing.
• Experience working with plans/maps (manual or electronic).
• Customer service experience, either face-to-face or by phone.
• Strong investigative and information collation skills.
• Experience in Local Land Charges, property, legal, or conveyancing roles (desirable).
