Quantity Surveyor

Randstad are partnered with one of the largest Tier 1 Contractors who specialise in construction and also property services nationwide. They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Leeds team working on properties throughout the region.

About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day commercial management of multiple projects from start to finish. This includes:

  • Controlling and reporting on all commercial aspects of projects.
  • Keeping management updated on account progress (client and sub-contractor).
  • Providing timely and accurate financial documentation, such as CVRs, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Collaborating with the Procurement Team for cost-effective and timely procurement.
  • Managing the production of main/sub-contract final accounts, including re-measurement, variation evaluation, and claims management.
About You

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with:

  • Strong knowledge of measurement and valuation.
  • Good understanding of budgets, forecast management, CVRs, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of responsive, cyclical, and planned maintenance.
  • Proficiency in IT systems.

Essential Qualifications: A Level 4 Construction or Management qualification (or equivalent) OR extensive relevant experience. A CSCS White Card is also required, or you must be working towards it.
